Movies

One director has marked me, the German Werner
Herzog. Each of his films is unique, includes topics little explored or discussed,
proposing curious and captivating debates. Also, uses frequently the silence and,
the most interesting, the interpreters not necessarily are professional actors.
The last film that I saw is justly Fitzcarraldo, a Herzog’s film released in
1982.
My favourite film is “Dersou Uzala”, directed by
Akira Kurosawa and released in 1975. A Russian explore group should go to
Shkotovo, for a topographic mission. While touring the sector, they meet with a
Nanái nomad called Dersou Uzala, who teaches them about the relationship between
human being and nature. The stars are Maxim Munzuk (Dersou) and Yuri Solomin (Vladimir).
I like this film because shows a different perspective on the human and the
environment, together with the use of camera. I saw three times and I absolutely
recommend watch the movie.
I would like to see again “Nuovo Cinema
Paradiso” (Tornatore, 1989) because each time what I saw the film, I get
excited and love more the cinema’s history, along with portray the dynamic of the
typical Italy’s little town and its evolution.
